Description:
Understanding the technical side of repairs is a necessary skill for all appraisers. This five-day, hands-on seminar gives the estimator basic repair knowledge for making repair value decisions. Identify and define structural damage, to recognize the difference between visual damage and hidden damage and to accurately identify suspension component problems. Discover measuring aids that help determine whether the shop explanation of damage accurately reflects repairs needed. Gain an understanding of alignment report information to prevent paying for unneeded parts replacement. Learn what repair process is needed to complete a structural repair. Prerequisite: "Introduction to Collision Damage Assessment Training" or the equivalent is recommended.
