Why Canada Matters to Wisconsin & Wisconsin Business

Wednesday, October 28
Fox Valley Technical College, D. J. Bordini Center, Appleton
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Canada and the United States share the world’s largest and most comprehensive trade relationship, supporting millions of jobs in each country. Canada is Wisconsin’s #1 customer, buying more goods from the state than its next six largest foreign markets combined. 158,000 jobs in Wisconsin depend on Canada-US trade and investment.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discuss the strong economic ties between Canada and the Appleton Region and the importance of continued collaboration with Consul General of Canada, Dr. Roy Norton. Currently representing Canada in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana, Roy Norton also served as Consul General in Detroit. He has also served as the chief liaison with the United States Congress at Canada’s Embassy in Washington, D.C.
