Career Program: Truck Driving
Hometown: Green Bay
Current Residence: Green Bay
Attended FVTC: April 2014 through July 2014
Why did you choose the Truck Driving program?
I’ve always wanted to try driving commercial vehicles, and there are a lot of truck driving jobs available now, so I thought this would be a great career move. The short training time also appealed to me.
What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?
As a truck driver, you really get to be your own boss, which is very rewarding to me.
Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?
I did my research, and it all pointed to the best and most well-known truck driving school around—Fox Valley Technical College. The instructors here are so great to work with. With the instructors’ knowledge and the college’s facilities, this program gives you real-life driving experience through hands-on operation.
What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?
I expect to find a driving job that requires a professional with a Commercial Driver’s License. There are so many jobs out there right now in this field. I’m looking forward to seeing where the road takes me in this new phase of my life.
