Why did you choose the Business Management program?
I chose this program because I needed a base of education that could apply to a variety of fields. It has given me a little taste of almost all aspects of business and will enable me to choose the appropriate path and define my next step in education.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?
When I began this program, I did not realize the number of available opportunities. I will be able to apply myself in many different facets of business such as marketing, supervising or even starting my own business someday.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?
I wanted to attend a school where they emphasize not only teaching students, but also building their skills to apply themselves to the real world. Also, the smaller and more personal classroom environment is more suitable to the way I like to learn. It really gives an opportunity to get to know the instructors and develop meaningful professional relationships.

How did Fox Valley Technical College change your life?
As an individual who began working and declined to finish high school, this college gave me an opportunity to find out if I have the potential to move forward in a career. I was unsure of myself and my ability to speak intelligently in front of a group of professionals. I now have the skills to present my thoughts with confidence and conviction while knowing how to handle the pressure of ever-changing situations in the workplace.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?
I plan to secure an assistant manager position to gain experience in managing employees and the obstacles that come with the responsibility of leading others.
