Director Earns Woman of the Year Award

Apr 28, 2014

Denise Martinez, director of student affairs at Fox Valley Technical College, earned the 2014 Fox Cities Woman Leader of the Year Award from Women in Management-Fox Cities Chapter.

The annual award recognizes a Fox Cities female leader who has made exemplary contributions to her company, employees, and community. Martinez, a Ripon native, has made significant impact at FVTC in initiatives that support special populations, including single parents, students with disabilities, veterans, and English Language Learners.

Outside of the college, Martinez works closely with the Bay Area Workforce Development Board and serves as a board member for the Ripon Area School District, Ripon Area United Way, and has served as president of the Wisconsin Academic Advising Association.

Congratulations, Denise!
