Honoring Student Clubs and Leaders

The Student Life department at Fox Valley Technical College announced its 2012-2013 award recipients from members of the college’s Student Government Association (SGA) and student clubs.

Attendance awards were given to:

Jimmy Kuntoro, Indonesia

Justin Schwan, Reedsville
Robert Sprangers, Kaukauna
Jacob Winke, Kiel
Jefferey Xiong, Appleton
Michael Xiong, Appleton.

The student FVTC Club of the Year award went to Student Veterans of America for its community efforts in helping homeless individuals and families, volunteer mentorship at Outagamie County Veterans Court, and for providing goods to area veterans-related organizations. Honorable mention in this same category went to the Phi Theta Kappa student club.

Three FVTC employees, Joe Richter, veterans specialist, Teri Stark, marketing instructor, and Kurt Schrampfer, math instructor, received special recognition for their advisory roles in helping the college's SGA and for advancing club objectives.

In addition, more than 50 students received recognition for outstanding accomplishments and service to a specific student club.
