Congrats, High School Completion Students!

The Adult Basic Education department at Fox Valley Technical College will recognize the accomplishments of its high school completion students on Wednesday, June 11 during the 27th annual GED/HSED ceremony.

FVTC will honor about 525 students this year who have completed credentials for their GED or HSED. The student speakers for the ceremony are Vicki Mitchell of the Administrative Professional program, who is a GED completer representing the college’s first-year “Seeing Beyond the Barriers” grant students, and Cintya Mendoza of the Management Development program, who is an HSED graduate through the Even Start Family Literacy program at Johnston Elementary. The keynote address will be given by Mary Harp-Jirschele, executive director of the J. J. Keller Foundation.
