Entrepreneur Training in Major Spotlight

May 27, 2014

The Venture Center at Fox Valley Technical College was featured in the latest issue of Community College Entrepreneurship, a national publication of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE).

“Going Big? Then Partner Up!” is the article that highlights the Venture Center’s second round of grant funding for providing training and/or direct support to small businesses that are prime for growth opportunities. Through a NACCE-Sam’s Club Shared Vision for Small Business grant, the Venture Center continues to lead a regional initiative in helping small businesses take the next step toward marketing their products and services more effectively.

The Venture Center at FVTC is one of the leading providers of entrepreneur training and small business growth in the nation, leveraged by its national train-the-trainer model of E-seed, a 10-week training experience that assists start-up, early-stage entrepreneurs and experienced small business owners in developing management and planning tools for their businesses.
