View compelling comments from one of the nation’s most respected resources in the fight for missing persons and their families, Pete Banks, former director of training and outreach for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and retired police investigator.

Banks delivered his address to the public during a community event on February 21 in concert with FVTC’s annual Responding to Missing & Unidentified Persons conference.

The community event also featured Ms. Carrie McGonigle and the tragedy behind her abducted daughter, Amber. That incident fueled Ms. McGonigle’s crusade to work with the college and law enforcement to enhance responsiveness for the missing and to empower children with the skills to be safe.
