Expert commentary from Adam Laabs, an instructor for Fox Valley Technical College’s Welding programs and trainer for its Business and Industry Services team, was featured in the latest issue of the international trade publication, The Fabricator. Laabs’ content focuses on code writing in welding and metal fabrication.

FVTC is one of the Midwest leaders in training the next generation of skilled welders and metal fabricators. Anchored by strong business partners like Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and more, the college continues to proactively address the skills shortage in the industry for both entry level workers and existing workforce.

Based on the 2012 FVTC Graduate Employment Research Report, 90% of the college’s graduates from its welding-related program were employed within six months of graduation. In addition, some students were hired before officially graduating from one of these related programs based on demands from employers.
