A Glimpse at Training Law Enforcement

Backed by a strong national reputation in several specialized areas of law enforcement training, Fox Valley Technical College’s expert trainers and state-of-the-art resources are continuously gaining visibility.

These resources are in-demand, necessitating expansion in the form of a new Public Safety Training Center at the Outagamie County Regional Airport. This facility expansion concept was the lead project of FVTC’s passing of a public referendum in April, enabling the college to move forward on seven overall projects that meet specific industry demands.

One of those training resources directly related to public safety is FVTC’s driving range, located at its Appleton campus adjacent to the J. J. Keller Transportation Center.  The range houses Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) training, among others, and is the focal point of a story below done by WLUK Fox 11.  EVOC training on the driving range is one of FVTC's high-demand programs.

A new driving range will be part of the Public Safety Training Center, which is expected to open in late spring of 2015.
