Celebrate International Education Week

Fox Valley Technical College’s Global Education & Services department will be hosting a number of festivities at its Appleton campus during the week of November 12 in celebration of International Education Week.

The events, which are all free and open to the public, begin on Tuesday, November 13 with the showing of a number of international films beginning at 11:30, 3:30, and 6:00 in Spectator’s Lounge, located in the commons. These showings will be offered again on Wednesday and Thursday at the same times.

On Wednesday, November 14, a study abroad fair will be held in the commons from 11:00-1:00. The event will provide information on learning abroad through FVTC. Also on Wednesday from 11:30-1:00 in room E130, there will be an introductory session on learning the Polish language and a travel around the world pictorial display of various cultures, geography, and history.

The week’s activities will culminate on Thursday, November 15 from 3:00 – 6:00 with an international cabaret in the commons, featuring food, music, and dancing from around the world.

Visitors should use entrance 6 for all activities. No registration is required for any of the events.
