FVTC President Honored by UW-Stout

Fox Valley Technical College President Dr. Susan A. May has been named UW-Stout’s 2013 Career and Technical Educator in Residence.

This program is designed to showcase the accomplishments of a UW-Stout Career and Technical Education (CTE) graduate as well as provide a role model to students enrolled in CTE teacher education programs. Residents are selected by UW-Stout CTE faculty.

May received both her bachelor’s degree in home economics education and master’s degree in vocational education administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, Wisconsin. She earned her doctorate degree in vocational, technical and occupational education from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. May was selected by this group due to a variety of accomplishments, her career journey and pathway, her academic credentials, and testimonies by those who have worked with her. May is the third recipient of this award.

This award will be presented to Dr. May at UW-Stout on Tuesday, March 12 in a ceremony before students and faculty.
