This certificate provides training for individuals interested in employment within the tree care profession. Careers in arboriculture, urban forestry, nursery management, plant health care, and utility line clearance exist in the tree care industry in both the public and private sectors. Students will learn urban tree maintenance and management, plant health care operations, how trees function, planting and selection, and chainsaw safety and operation.
