The Wisconsin Professional Credential for Child Care Administrators prepares participants with administrative and supervisory skills needed for early childhood administrators: roles and responsibilities, financial management and planning, operations management, external factors affecting operations, and best practices for children and families in early childhood programs.

  • Train new leadership for early childhood programs
  • Prepare child care staff to assume increased responsibility
  • Provide orientation for others from related professions who wish to work in early childhood programs
  • Approved to meet the requirements for Directors of programs accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children
  • Approved to meet the requirements for Directors of group child care programs as outlined by the Department of Children and Families
