This certificate offering is designed to assist in training entry level technicians to help support General Motors dealer and ACDelco Professional Service Center needs. The certificate program is for students who are looking for an introduction to the automotive industry. It is designed to prepare students to work in the “Express Service” area of a GM dealership or ACDelco Professional Service Center; doing a variety of automobile maintenance activities. This certificate program was requested and initiated by General Motors as an addition to our GM ASEP program.



Areas of Study:
The areas of study include: Automotive Service Fundamentals, Automotive Electrical Systems, Automotive Brake Systems, Automotive Steering and Suspension Systems, Automotive Engine Repair, and Welding.

Students may transfer credits directly into the GM ASEP program or Automotive Technician program.

General Motors technician training credit will be awarded upon completion of the certificate program.
