Applied Engineering certificates provide students with an understanding of the tools, machines, and terminology used in industry. The Lean/Six Sigma certificate provides an understanding of the methods used by a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt to solve problems, eliminate waste and improve processes. Students will measure process results and set goals, involve employees in the DMAIC process, and use data and statistics to drive data-based improvements. If you decide to complete an AAS degree in Applied Engineering, these credits will count toward the degree. Classes are presented in a flexible format to accommodate students' schedules.
