This certificate provides the foundation in the various roles and responsibilities in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S). This certificate is designed for individuals whose duties are in EH&S and for students who want to improve their understanding in the evolution of environmental and occupational safety in business and industry. Students will complete a series of simulated reports and policies as a part of this certificate.

For students who want to broaden their skills or learn new skills:

  • Start at any time at the Appleton or Oshkosh campus
  • Classes are in a flexible format with an open schedule
  • Learn the tools through the implementation of a project at your workplace
  • Credits transfer to the Applied Engineering Technology program or credits can be used as electives to any FVTC associate degree
