Program Description
The Farm Operation program is designed to provide you with up-to-date knowledge of production agriculture. This program primarily enables you to perform productively in the field of agriculture by providing you with knowledge, skills, and training related to day-to-day farm management activities. This program runs three days a week from mid-November until mid-April to accommodate people employed full-time in farming.
In this program, you concentrate on the skills required to make sound business-management decisions, and on the care and feeding of livestock, the selection and maintenance of equipment and machinery, and the production of agricultural crops.
