Counseling Services provide assistance to you, our student, who has applied for
an Associate Degree or Technical Diploma.
We will work with you throughout your program to help you
achieve successful completion by providing the following services:
- Provide counseling for educational
planning and course selection
- Need to know how to read your program plan? View our online tutorial here!
- Meet new students and assist at New Student Registration
- Introduce faculty/peer advising process
- Provide referrals to Educational Support
Services staff when needed
- Counsel students in academic crisis,
academic probation or suspension
- Assist with graduation checks and degree
audits
- Meet with students concerning course or
program withdrawal
Counseling is confidential. However, we are leagally bound to report
potential suicide, homicide and suspected child/elder abuse. The staff
adheres to the American Counseling Association's ethical guidelines (
www.counseling.org).
