Aircraft technicians are the backbone of the aviation industry. They are
responsible for the repair and maintenance of the mechanical systems and bodies
of aircraft.
In your training at FVTC you will be exposed to the theory and operation of
systems and components that make up an airplane. You will get hands-on training
which allows you to achieve the skills needed to repair and maintain
aircraft.
With this combination of skill and knowledge, you can learn what it takes to
accomplish airworthy maintenance. As a technician, you must have confidence in
yourself, the maintenance you do and the decisions you make.
