Length:  8 one-week sessions over 12 month period
Time:  Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30pm
Cost:  $3,400
Payable in two installments.  Fee includes instructional materials, coffee breaks and noon meals.  Lodging and travel is the responsibility of the sponsoring department.

Training Location: Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wisconsin

Training Limited To:
Applicants must be full-time criminal justice professionals ranking above entry level.

Description:  The Criminal Justice Executive Development Institute was developed to address the professional growth needs of current and future leaders presently serving in Criminal Justice agencies.  Instruction is provided in a series of 8 one-week sessions over a period of 12 months.  This allows students to participate in this professional growth program and apply learned concepts as they attend to the day to day needs of their agencies.  General Training Topics: Management Principles and Leadership Skills, Personal Growth and Development, Managing the Criminal Justice Planning Process, Human Resource Development, Resource Allocation Management of Law Enforcement Operations, Building Community Support, The Future of Law Enforcement, and Public Finance and Budgeting.
