Training Topics Offered:
This formal, learning-intense 32-hour training course provides an overview of the “essentials of training” and teaches participants how to create a performance-based instructional environment that maximizes student learning through scenario-based training. A prevailing theme throughout this course will be the concept that instruction must produce in the learner certain knowledge, skills and attitudes consistent with actual on-the-job performance. Participants will develop and enhance those instructional skills that promote active learning by applying various teaching methodologies.

Training Objectives:
Upon completion of this training, each participant will be able to:
  • Develop Power Point presentations
  • Meet LESB Instructor Certification requirements
  • Develop and promote instructor speaking skills
  • Create a performance-based instructional environment
