Computer Aided Drawing - Advanced
Length: Hours 16
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton Campus
This course is designed for students who wish to advance in the field of computer aided drawing. Students will focus on the three dimensional aspect of Crime/Crash Zone software, learn how to create an incident scene, and essentially “walk” investigators, prosecutors, and jurors through it to vicariously view the exact location(s) of evidence in 3-D. Whether it be the complex scene of a vehicular homicide or the interior of a building, users will be able to bring their diagrams into the three dimensional world. In addition, the training will include an overview of creating object movement through the software’s animation engine. This latter area of instruction will expose students to the techniques in creating motion to effectively demonstrate how an event took place. Two instructors will present this course, allowing for individualized attention.
Your agency can purchase the Crash Zone or Crime Zone software packages for a cost of $599.00 in addition to the course tuition. This is a special $100.00 discount for students that have attended a certified training class. Upgrade pricing is also available.
Students should have attended the Computer Aided Drawing – Basic course, or have a working knowledge and experience of 2-D CAD procedures.
