Training Topics Offered:
In this course, instructor candidates will learn the role of communication in law enforcement and will develop, apply and instruct specific communication skills and the strategies in a variety of simulated situations. Role play scenarios will be emphasized. Upon completion of this course instructors will be recognized by the WI LESB as a certified Professional Communications Instructors as recognized in the Unified Tactical field.

Training Objectives:
  • Apply knowledge of the communication process
  • Apply appropriate communication techniques
  • Integrate verbal and physical intervention skills appropriately
  • Demonstrate and apply communication concepts in a simulated environment
Who Should Attend:
LESB instructors, telecommunicators, FTO’s supervisors or those desiring more training in communication with the public.

IDC certification required prior to attending this course.
