Ryan Gilbert 

Ryan has over 22 years law enforcement experience. The last 15 years he has worked for the Mishicot Police Department with the last 11 of those as Chief of Police. Prior to that position, Ryan worked at the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department as a reserve deputy, part-time deputy and corrections officer. Ryan also worked 3 years as a LTE Park Ranger for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and was an EMT-Basic with the Mishicot Area Ambulance Service since 2003.  Ryan has also taught the last 4 years as an adjunct instructor at Lakeshore Technical College.  Ryan possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Silver Lake College and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Ryan has also attended specialized trainings such as Weapons of Mass Destruction-Incident Command and Law Enforcement Protective Measures at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Alabama; Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings Course at New Mexico Tech and Integrated Emergency Management at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
