The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s traffic safety school is a twelve-hour classroom course, which offers an opportunity to reduce your demerit point total on your driver’s record. This educational course was created to reduce the number of traffic violations and crashes that take place on Wisconsin’s roads and highways.
The main goal of this course is to help you change your risky driving behavior to help you become a safe and responsible driver. You’ll have the opportunity to learn information about safe driving, assess your driving habits, and develop a personal change plan to reduce your risks while driving. Emphasis is placed on positive changes in your driving habits.
Fox Valley Technical College is an approved traffic safety school training site. Enrollment into the course may be on a voluntary basis, at the request of the courts, or on recommendation by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
