Communications Unit Leader Exercise (COMLEX) 

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Emergency Communications (OEC), Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP), and the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance (OJA) are conducting a Communication Unit Leader Exercise (COMLEX) at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The COMLEX was developed by the Exercise Planning Team (EPT) which is composed of qualified state COMLs. The exercise provides an opportunity for those who have completed an FVTC COML course to fulfill the required tasks and become a qualified COML. A total of sixteen applicants (eight on September 22 and eight on September 23) will be selected to participate in the COMLEX.
