The 2012 Wisconsin Interoperability Symposium will bring together public safety stakeholders from across the state to learn and discuss issues affecting Wisconsin interoperability. The event is being held in conjunction with the annual State System Management Group (SSMG) meeting and will offer stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about Wisconsin's public safety radio communications strategies. Also included:
  • Update and Q&A on WISCOM
  • Keynote presentations from national interoperability experts
  • In depth break-out training on ACU product
  • WISCOM training

Who Should Attend

Representatives from local law enforcement, fire service, emergency management, emergency medical services, independent 911 PSAP and non-profit emergency services agencies. Vendors may also attend.

Registration and Logistics

There is NO FEE to attend the symposium, however registration is required. This course is scheduled for 12:30pm to 5:30pm on January 17 and 9am-5pm on January 18. Participants will receive 13 continuing training hours through FVTC upon successful completion.

One night of lodging (for the night of January 17, 2012) is available for government and non-profit participants traveling more than 50 miles one way who are actively involved in interoperability efforts. If you fit this criteria include your lodging request during online registration. Once your registration is processed, you will receive additional lodging information via email. The lodging location will be the Holiday Inn & Suites which is connected to the Patriot Center.
