Courthouse Security Training Program 

Safe and secure courthouses require a strong partnership between court personnel and law enforcement. Judges, court staff, and law enforcement serve as the protectors of individuals who utilize the court system. This training is intended to help establish the appropriate level of security and awareness among courthouse personnel. Topics to be discussed include:

In an effort to define the essential components of a model courthouse security program, the following agencies collaborated to create the Wisconsin Courthouse Security Manual:
Its purpose is to equip law enforcement officers, judges, clerks of court, and other county officials with the information necessary to customize a comprehensive security plan for their courthouse.
