Thank you to everyone who helped and donated to our annual food drive. Together we
were able to get over $1600 worth of food and donations for the food pantry, making
this the best year to date.

About the Independent Chuckers
All students enrolled in the Machine Tool and Die program are eligible for membership into the club, which requires a lifetime membership fee of $5. Every year the club travels to Milwaukee or Chicago to attend a tool show. At these shows, members can experience the latest technologies used in all the different aspects of the trade. There are also opportunities to speak with prospective employers and other companies from all over the country. Other benefits of membership in the Machine Tool Club are the annual pizza party at the end of the fall semester and the annual cook-out at the end of the spring semester.
Along with efforts to better its members, the club works hard every year to better the community. Every year from thanksgiving to very last day in the fall semester, the club members work diligently to collect food and monetary donations for the food pantry. As a group, we have increased our total donation almost every year. Even though the food drive is our main annual fundraiser, the club usually assists other charities like Coats for Kids.
Finally, the Independent Chuckers stay involved with student government, which includes attending all meetings, keeping its members and the other student organizations informed.
