Since 2003, Fox Valley Technical College and Wilhelm-Merton-Schule in Frankfurt, Germany have been providing students the opportunity to participate in an International Exchange Program.

The Wilhelm-Merton-Schule is a vocational school (Berufsschule) where students normally attend class twice a week during a 2 to 3 1/2 year apprenticeship; the other days are spent working at a company. Visit the colleges website at www.wilhelm-merton-schule.de.
 
In October of each year a group of German students travel to Appleton to visit for two-weeks. During this time we look for individuals willing and able to host them during their stay. Then, in March of the following year you will travel to Frankfurt and live with local host families for two-weeks. The program includes visits to historical sites in and around Frankfurt, overnight in Heidelberg youth hostel, business tours and classroom visits. *tours and visits subject to change

The two week visit to Germany is filled with fun and exciting activities, as well as some business in between. This is a great opportunity for you to get an insight into another culture and meet people from around the world.
