FVTC’s Sustainable Technology Center and CEPA Europe have partnered to provide a wonderful opportunity to travel to Europe to learn about the sustainability efforts and projects in Germany. During this 9-day International Professional Field Study program, participants will gain an insiders view of the world of environmental sustainability.

This program, based in Freiburg and Berlin, gives participants a feeling for a moderately large German city, as well as the capital city. Germany is a world leader when it comes to advancements in fields such as wind energy and building sustainable cities.

Excursions will show participants the day-to-day activities of those working in the solar and wind energy fields. Participants will also get to see how environmental and/or energy related branches of the government make their decisions. Each visit focuses on sustainability and how these efforts are propelling Europe into the future.

Throughout the program, participants will learn about the latest innovations firsthand from experts working towards a better tomorrow.
