Successful Community Collaboration
FVTC has joined with the Appleton Area School District to
facilitate services to better the minority student transition from high school
to college. We have 3 cultural support specialists that maintain
relationships with Hispanic, Hmong, and African ethnic students. They
assist students in pursuing an educational degree and career opportunities for
the future. The Cultural Specialists are housed fulltime in the Appleton
High Schools, but spends one day a week at FVTC.
