    County Executive Thomas Nelson will review how Outagamie County is implementing Lean Management. Thomas will be joined by Abe Weber from the Outagamie County Regional Airport, who will present on how lean was applied to improve the process for reporting field conditions on the runway to airlines.

    The Global Supply Chain team at Kimberly-Clark was faced with varying workloads and were challenged with understanding whether they were meeting customer and internal team expectations. By using the Toyota Kata methodology of continuous improvement they’ve developed a team support model and improved workforce satisfaction and yielded a significant cost savings.

    Training Within Industry was a proven methodology in the 1940s when US companies trained thousands of inexperienced workers in manufacturing processes quickly and effectively. In today's work environment, the training processes still hold great value. Learn more about this tried and true method and how it can be applied in today's work environment.


Each company will share a success in their continuous improvement journey followed by an open forum question and answer.
  
Due to the size of the meeting room, and to maximize the involvement of all attendees, the number of attendees and/or attendees by company may be limited. This group will meet on an on-going basis and the agenda of each meeting will be decided by the group at the previous meeting.
