FVTC Auto Club
General information & Constitution
This club is designed to compliment the programs of Auto Technology, Automotive Maintenance, Ford MLR, and ASEP at FVTC: By organizing events suited to the study of Automotive Technology, and encouraging friendship among its members. Events planned by this club should include but are not limited to:
- Field trips
- In class speakers
These activities help demonstrate the importance of a socially structured atmosphere to share ideas and to promote the education and enjoyment of auto technology.
Membership will be open to all students enrolled in any of the FVTC Automotive programs (Auto Technology, Auto Maintenance, Ford MLR, and ASEP).
All members are expected to participate in fundraising efforts to fairly distribute the workload.
A non-voting membership shall be granted to any faculty member teaching any of the above mentioned classes.
A non-voting membership shall be granted to any graduate of any of the above mentioned programs.
This association shall have officers as follows:
- Vice President
These officers shall take hold of the office in accordance to the election procedures and qualifications set forth in the bylaws of this association.
There shall be a standing committee established known as the executive committee. This committee shall consist of elected representatives from each class. Their duties shall include but are not limited to:
- Attend Student Government meetings.
- Attend Auto Club officer meetings
- Submit (in writing) concerns or ideas of fellow classmates to the officers at officer meetings.
