Bloodborne Pathogens 

Those who anticipate coming in contact with blood or other bodily fluids in the workplace will benefit from a basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens. OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, CFR 1910.1030, will be reviewed and discussed.

Training includes a review of the common methods of transmission, prevention techniques and other information to reduce an employee’s exposure risk along with a review of the requirements of a written Bloodborne Program.
