Program Description:
The General Studies Transfer Certificate includes a 33-credit core of courses designed to meet specific general education requirements at UW-Oshkosh. Take your first year at Fox Valley Technical College and qualify for sophomore status at UW-Oshkosh.
Classes are offered in a variety of formats - evening, daytime, online and accelerated.
FVTC General Studies Transfer Certificate completers who have a 2.5 overall Grade Point Average may submit an application to UW-Oshkosh. Additional admission requirements may apply. For more information, visit the UW-Oshkosh admissions website.
FVTC students seeking to transfer to UW-Oshkosh should apply to UWO beginning September 15 for the fall term and January 1 for the spring term one year prior to expected enrollment.
*Some courses, e.g., Biology, are not available at Oshkosh campus and regional centers.
