POLICY TITLE: Contractor Safety Responsibility
Fox Valley Technical College is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning and working environment. Employees and students are required to comply with established safety standards adopted by local, state and federal governments. Further, all outside contractors shall comply with the same standards when performing work on any district campus sites. Facilities and Operations monitors outside contractor safety on all district property and addresses any issues. Contractors not complying with the standards will be asked to either comply or cease work.
All outside contractors are required to read, sign, and comply with the Facilities and Operations contractor work and safety rules. If contractors are hired through a bidding process, Financial Services provides a copy of the contractor work and safety rules and obtains the appropriate signatures.
