Employability Strategies is designed to ease the student's transition from school to the world of work. The strategies of getting a job and the interpersonal skills needed in keeping it are emphasized. Topics include the job search, employment correspondence, application for employment and job interviewing. These topics are enhanced by mock interview, individualized job search planning and employment advising and presentation from human resource personnel.
Students receive credit for the work
they do as part of the class. This course is subject to the typical per-credit
fee at FVTC, and the price of the required textbook (less than $10.00).
This class is also available to the general public.
