Comprehensive Assessment Process for Planning Strategies
The Community Process for Planning Strategies (CAPPS) training will assist tribes in learning a process for planning. During the training, attendees will learn to clearly define the intended outcome for a project and then develop an action plan that outlines a framework for success. The planning process can address planning around topics such as alcohol and substance abuse, comprehensive approaches to sex offender management, tribal courts or other community justice needs including ways to prepare for the 2012 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation.
