This course is intended for people who must pass an approved sanitation exam for their initial sanitation certification. The exam is given the last class session. After receiving the results of the exam, individuals must then apply to the Department of Health and Family Services for their 5-year Wisconsin Food Managers Certification. These classes are power/compacted lectures. It is highly suggested the student begin reading the book in advance of the 1st class session.

The registration fee is $29.64 / $5.20 for anyone 62 years or age or older.
The required textbook is ServSafe Manager Book with Answer Sheet, 6th Edition, by the National Restaurant Association which is available at the Appleton campus bookstore. If you share or borrow a textbook, an exam answer sheet must be purchased with advanced notice, so please call the bookstore two weeks in advance of the course start date to reserve an answer sheet.
