Social Science Team Mission Statement
Through a competency-based format, the Social Sciences team
provides students with a greater understanding and effective application of
skills necessary for personal, professional, and civic achievement.
The team facilitates growth by expanding skills in critical
analysis and evaluation of social phenomena, increasing understanding and
appreciating diversity, applying group dynamics principles to foster individual
responsibility in achieving cooperative endeavors and developing proficiency in
a variety of skills to achieve personal and career goals in an interdependent
global economy.
