The chart of Important Dates is a combination of dates that affect financial aid recipients. These dates are subject to change. Students who apply for financial aid after the recommended priority date may have disbursement dates later than the dates shown on the chart.

(A) If financial aid for term is not enough to pay fees in full, the student is responsible to pay the difference:

Tuition and/or Books - Financial Aid = Payment Due

           >  Choose the financial aid year
(B) Financial aid funding will be based on the number of enrolled credits on the Census Date.
(C) Please note that not all funds may be disbursed on this day. As funds come in they will be disbursed.
(D) It is possible to receive more than one refund if aid disburses at different times. Refund checks/eRefunds are processed after funds are disbursed and/or all charges have been paid in full. Please go to your MyFVTC and select the eFAS link to set up direct deposit.
(E) The application and awarding process will take time to process. Therefore, the following priority dates are highly recommended. Students may apply after these dates, however, we cannot guarantee the awarding process will be completed to hold a place in classes without payment on the registration due date. The FAFSA application is available online January 1 each year.
