Andy Rinke, instructor in Fox Valley Technical College’s Automotive Technologies programs, earned World Class Technician recognition from General Motors. The distinction is GM’s highest level of professional development. Rinke is only one of a few individuals in Wisconsin to reach this level of GM service technical certification.

Attaining World Class Technician status recognizes training in the following GM-specific areas:

• Automatic transmission/transaxle
• Brakes
• Electrical/electronics
• Engine repair
• Engine performance
• Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
• Manual driver train & axle
• Steering & suspension
