The Outagamie Corporation Counsel, on behalf of the Outagamie County Board and County Executive, has sought the expertise of Fox Valley Technical College’s Public Safety division to lead a multidisciplinary panel in reviewing emergency management processes from the August 7 severe storms that caused widespread damage throughout the region.
FVTC’s leadership in national training areas such as law enforcement, emergency response and management, and more contributed toward the selection of the college overseeing this review. The college is currently assembling panel members who represent a broad range of experience and expertise in meteorology, emergency management, crisis response, and more.
The goal of the review is to recommend best practices for future-related incidences to improve public safety and response procedures. More information is provided above in the attached news release.
