Dr. Maame Yaa Bosuo Norman is a Chemical Engineer, Robotics Coach, Professor and an Author. Her book "Next Level Education Game Changer" released in January 2021 rose to become a #1 Best Seller New Release in the category of Research Reference Books on Amazon. “Next Level Education” is recognized as one the best new education books by Book Authority. Book Authority collects and ranks the best books in the world and it is a great honor to get this recognition.
Within her professional history, Dr. Norman has gained over 15 years of experience working within the chemical engineering environment, driving performance through product generation, research & development, classroom teaching and process engineering in modeling, gasoline blending, data reconciliation & optimization. Dr. Norman is a licensed Professional Engineer for the state of Wisconsin.
Dr. Norman obtained her undergraduate degree from Hampton University graduating as the top student in Chemical Engineering with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. She then obtained her doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University in Chemical Engineering with a specialty in process systems engineering.
Dr. Norman spends part of her time as a facilitator in Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics as well as an adjunct instructor at Fox Valley Technical College. Additionally, she is a part-time professor in Mathematics & Chemistry at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC).
Outside of work, Dr. Norman is a Robotics coach at the middle school her boys attend. She sits on the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley Board and she is also an Elder at Memorial Presbyterian Church. Dr. Norman & her husband have 3 sons. She enjoys spending time with the family, biking, sewing and traveling.
Dr. Norman is very passionate about educating our next generation of leaders and highlighting the importance of listening to our learners.
