Description:
Covers crisis communication techniques, as well as special considerations and best practices following a line-of-duty death. Along with how to conduct "defusings" and debriefings. Discusses the latest research on how to foster resilience and resilient leadership and how peer support team members might foster resilience for themselves.

Students should bring note-taking materials with them to class. The fees for this term have not been approved by the state. The fee will be determined by April 1. The estimated fee will be $50.
