Description:
Provides basic elements of P2P File Sharing Networks, this course is designed for new task force members as well as seasoned task force members who may take this 5-module course as a refresher to assist in their investigations. Prosecutors may view the course to learn basic P2P terminology and understand the P2P network and file sharing functions. Topics include (but not limited to): key terms and concepts, structure of P2P networks, tracing IP addresses and tools for working with IP addresses, RoundUp Suite of tools, and investigative practices. Each module contains hands-on exercises and resources for investigators.
