So, you were just accepted into the Criminal Justice, Security and Asset Protection or Forensic Science Program, eh? Well, you need to spend some time with us first. We have created a Boot Camp for all of our new students. OK, calm down...maybe “Boot Camp” evokes images of a Drill Sergeant and a lot of push-ups. Not that type of boot camp! However, while the military uses theirs to prepare soldiers through basic training, we will use ours to prepare you for success at FVTC and beyond. You will have a great opportunity to meet your instructors, and learn about all of the available resources at FVTC. We are going to have some fun and prepare you as best we know how. We promise to keep the push-ups to a minimum and that there will be no screaming! We also promise you will walk away from this time with us, better prepared for your education and your career. This 4-hour workshop will be required for all new students entering into the Criminal Justice, Security and Asset Protection and Forensic Science programs.
